Tech Fairs begin set up at 8:00 am and conclude by 12:00 pm.
Initial Tech Fair Sign Up Here
Sponsors may sign up for the number of projects they would like to bring to the respective fair. Districts will be invoiced after March 1st for the projects (individual buildings will NOT be invoiced). Payment should be received prior to April 1. Space for the fairs is limited.
Tech Fair Project Details – April 2017
Closer to the fair a request for project details will be sent to sponsors to provide students’ names, project names, and categories. This email will be sent to the sponsors who have submitted payment. (Projects on the waitlist will be notified if additional spaces open up).
ITEC sponsors regional student technology fairs each spring. The technology fairs offer K-12 students an opportunity to showcase technology-based projects created as part of their instructional curriculum in their schools.
Almost 300 projects will be presented statewide. The projects span eight different categories including web presence, programming, video/linear presentation, graphics/publishing, 3-D rendering/non-linear animation, music/sound design, mobile apps, and innovative technology use.
Each project is reviewed by local judges and those students receiving purple ribbon awards are invited to showcase their project at the ITEC conference in October.
The registration fee is $10 per project. Sponsors may choose to attend the fair that is the most convenient for your school. There is limited space at the tech fairs, so all projects must be registered and finalized by April 15, 2017.
Project Categories and Rubrics
Please visit the Project Categories and Rubrics page to view descriptions of each category and download the rubrics used by the judges for each category.

It’s also a great way for industry leaders to interact with students. No experience necessary! To be a volunteer judge for a tech fair, please sign up here.
Please submit payment of $10 per project (group projects may have up to three students) with a check or PO via mail or fax:
