Oracle Discord Bot
This final presentation was done by Zach, who is a High School Senior. His project was to create a bot application for the messaging app Discord. He wanted to build two primary functions for the bot – image manipulation and retrieval of Internet information, both using Pythion.
The Gathering Card Library
This final project was done by Jared, a Junior, and Samuel, a Senior, who attend North Polk Community School District. Their project was to create a SQL database that can be accessed through an application that would list all of their playing cards has so that they could easily see what cards they have.
3D Model Head Puzzle Project
This final project was done by Nathan who is a Junior at Rivermont Collegiate Community School District. His project was to create a life-sized 3D puzzle sculpture of his head. He used 3D modeling and utilized a 3D printer for his project.
Two Communities, Endless Possibilities Podcast
This final project was done by a group of students from Nashua-Plainfield Community School District. Jackson is a 6th grader, and Christopher, Connor, and Ella are 7th graders. Their project was to create a podcast of Nashua-Plainfield alumni where they would share their stories. They would be able to show endless career and life possibilities of people from small Iowa schools. It also created an audience beyond their teachers and peers.
Nevermore
This final project was done by Luke and Declan, who are both 8th graders at Western Dubuque Community School District. Their project was to write, perform, and produce their own song. They had written and performed songs in the past, but they were confident that this would be their best song yet.
